Delina Abadi is a researcher based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. From 2019-20 she worked as a research consultant on the Refugee Studies Centre project Responses to Crisis Migration in Uganda and Ethiopia: Researching the Role of Local Actors in Secondary Cities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a concentration on Development from Lawrence University and has been working as a consultant in research and development projects.
Her research interests include African migration (particularly East Africa), the empowerment and economic impact of IDPs and refugees, and women empowerment. Her most recent research project with University of Oxford, Refugee Studies Centre is on the Response to Crisis Migration in Uganda and Ethiopia: Researching the Role of Local Actors in Secondary Cities.
